Ultimate swordsman- Estelle Evergreen

Estelle twirled her ring around. She couldn't wait for the session to start. her ponytail was behind her, with a jade pendant attatched to it.Selina licked her paws next to her. Silverstag materialized, a blade of pure destruction. She was exhausted from waiting, and took a drink of water from her bottle, then splashed some over her face. Now that was refreshing. She wiped her face on her clothes, sitting down. She only needed her sword and dagger, and the pendant for a weapon, if Selina was allowed to help. She smiled with affection at the jaguar. A swift and loyal, not to mention destructive animal as a companion? Just awesome.
'Come on, Whitney' she grumbled to herself.

OOC: The charecter in charge of this program is Jonathon Flamely, Hepheatus cabin leader.

"Hello, Estelle. If you are ready to get started, grab your weapon, and nod to me, please." said Jonathon in his calm demeanor. "Also, you should know that Camp Half-Blood, me, Jonathon Flamely, the Hepheatus cabin, Chiron, or any other employees and/or affiliates are responsible for any injuries or death caused by the Agememon program, a mechanical automaton, still in its testing phase." he read off of a note card. Athena and her court system would probably cause lawsuits every five second if it weren't for disclaimers...

'Got it. can I use Selina?' Estelle asked the boy, taking out Silverstag.

Jonathon eyed the creature carefully. "no. You jaguar is a living being, not an inanimate blade, or other object, that is officially known as a weapon." he said, after some thought.

'Please?' Estelle asked him. 'If she is next to me, I don't usually get hurt. Plus, I give all the orders for her, and I will probably be with her when I fight the real one' she reasoned. She smiled a dazzling smile at the boy, the full package with the big pleading gray eyes. A rare one. But when it worked, it worked. You had to give that one.'Please?'

"Unless you have charmspeak, I am the single most stubborn person alive. Sorry," Jonathon checked the girl's application for her name, "Estelle, but Selina is not allowed in the fight. All victories most be solo, until further notice, however, Selina may fight Agememon separately from you, if you are not fighting, and you will decide wether or not to stop at any given point in time, for your pet."

Estelle shrugged. 'Okay' she replied. 'You said, any weapon is allowed?' she said dangerously, twiddling the jade pendant in her ponytail.

"Anything that is clearly classified as a weapon,yes. Would you like to begin now?" Jonathon was getting impatient. he wanted to start, and see if Agemmenon works.

Estelle shrugged and rolled her eyes a bit, noticing the impatience in the guy's voice.'All right, be a bit patient' she told him. She then muttered under her breath'But somehow, Selina'll think of a way to get involved.' Selina purred. Of course she will. And there was no way even a Hephestus kid would stop her. 'Begin' she said, a devilish look coming into her eyes,the way when she was in battle. She activated Silverstag, the wicked blade forming out of one ring. Before this session, she had set up all the plans for all the monsters. If the monsters react like she wants them to, she would definitley win. But the possibility was... a bit low. Monsters tend to be very random.All these thoughts circled Estelle's complicated brain, but she took a deep breath to press them down. After all, she can stop when she wants to, right? And Selina will help out, somehow.



OOC: What's the monster?

Jon smiled. "You are soooo dead." he said to Estelle. He pressed the activate button on his control pad, which not also just turned on Agemmenon, but also set up an eletric fence between the arena and the group of spectators watching. The only organic life forms allowed in were Estelle and a bunch of Apollo healers. He watched as his robot turned into Medusa. Oh gods. The one thing he didn't want to include, but he was outvoted by his coworkers on the project, was up first.
Jon's control pad also controlled the arena itself, so for safety procautions, the ground turned into a mirror, and it began to rain. The latter was just for fun though, not a safety procaution, like the stone statues that were erecting.

Estelle saw snake hair. No, that should not be Medusa. This one, Selina can't help. 'Good thing I'm a girl, I always bring my mirror wherever I go' she muttered, whipping it out. Barely noticing the drizzle, she saw Medusa in the clear reflection of the glass. She, as a daughter of athena, would get a hunch of Medusa's hatred.Well, too bad. She'll have to live with it. She concentrated, and jabbed anywhere at her behind experimentally, finding out the exact location of her enemy. Daughter of Athena.. a voice hissed. How nice to meet you. Believe me, I am not a foe. Turn around so that I can see your beautiful eyes, hmmm? It was tempting, but Estelle was used to concentrating at one thing at a time. She took a deep breath, for about 10 minutes, meditated,and shook her hair in a frenzy, the pendant going in all places. Thwack! One hit Medusa in the eye, and the monster wailed in agony. It tried to try the "voice" on her again, but Estelle didn't give her a chance. Calculating where the sound came from, she threw her extra dagger in the direction, but did not know if it hit or not. She hoped it did, or else.. she just might die. Mom, please.. she prayed. She then heard Selina, growling in half approval, half frustration. What does that mean?

Jonathon watched intently as Estelle's dagger pierced Medua's heart. She just made his do not make an enemy of list.

"You fifteen seconds till a new monster is regenerated, so I suggest you get you dagger, Agemmenon is not dangerous during this time."

Jonathon quickly got back on controls. Oh his screen, a... dracon? no a sea monster, was forming. Oh great. He typed some things in, and the controls plugged into a laptop. On his laptop, he started the OCEAN AGEMEMON program up, and the mirrors began to melt into ocean water, and salt began to pour out of two giant tubes on either side of the arena. As the sea serpant began to take Agememon's mechanical form, a ship was quickly constructed, and Estelle was risen up to the mast. A crew of undead creatures on loan from Hdes cabin were on deck, including a captain. Sea plants came in, and after the sharp rocks at the bottom were placed, and the sand was starting to shape to the sea floor, the five second countdown began, before Agememon was to begin.

"5, 4, 3" the crowd of onlookers chanted "2, 1"

Estelle quickly retreived her dagger, and felt water. Good. Although she was not a Poseidon kid, she had a lot of experience with it because of, well, Selina. And.. a boat with.. undead people? Not bad. Let's see what she can do. She shrank her dagger back into a ring and slowly circled the monster, round and round. The monster attacked the hull of the ship, making everyone jump. They can't defend here, Estelle realized. It was far too risky. To the captain, she ordered him to lure the monster anywhere. She found a spare little boat under the deck, and hopped on. Sneaking up onto the monster, she leaped onto its back like a cat, and stabbed. However, the monster was just annoyed. She was flung onto the jagged rocks, and got a wound, nothing too serious. She groaned, lifted herself up, and waded into the water, back to the boat. The captain surely got the thing's attention, by...bombs? How smart of him. Making herself weightless as possible, she waited until the monster slowly faced her, and leaped again, relying only on the "lessons" Selina gave her. She landed on the head, but closely. Thank the gods. She got out some acid and poison from her pocket, mixed them together, and put it on the edge of her sword. She then stabbed with all her might, into the one place unarmored- the eye.

OOC: Can we make the next monsters death take at least four posts? New rule.

Jon watched as she stabbed it. The monster writhed in pain for a few seconds before it died. He checked and saw the next monster was a cyclops. Estelle probably just met her match. The ship disassembled automatically, and Estelle fell the water. The water became calmer, and turned into a lake. An island in the center was erected, and a broken wooden bridge across the lake to a new ship was created, as the monster took form.

OOC: Cool with me. I tried to make the monster not die, just have a pain in the eye for that, you know. But whatever.

Estelle muttered. 'Did they have to make the bridge broken?' In 5 quick strokes, she reached the other side of the bridge and climed onto it. She strolled towards the ship and got on, then docked at the island. Cyclopes.. she'd had her share with fights with them, but no doubt this one is much smarter than the others.Cyclopes were children of Poseidon, so it would be smart to stay on land. She wiped the monster slime off her sword casually, and waved at the monster, smiling. This match, would be long. The look of Estelle's eyes changed. She didn't waste her energy going to the monster. She waited for it to come to her.

'The Cyclops is smart,' thought Jon, as the creature obviously realized what she was doing, and stood there. It was a stand-off. That was boring for the spectators, for Jon, and unrealistic in an actual situation, so he decided to add a fire cannon. The canon shot fire balls at the two for a while, drawing them together, before stopping.

'Gods, can't they leave it alone? I don't wanna die.' Estelle grumbled as she was forced into going to the Cyclopes. She walked, not ran. Taking her time like always.'Nice to meet you, Mr. Uglyish' she taunted from a safe distance. She walked farther up to the monster, so that she had a clear view. She kept talking to him, distracting him, while she looked for a weakness. Sneaking wouldn't do this time, what now? As she was starting to lose hope, she heard something in her head. Selina. Of Course! They had telepathy to communicate, and they can share tactics. Don't waste too much time looking for a weakness. said Selina. The Cyclopes will eventually get bored and may catch you by surprise.Estelle replied, I know. I'm trying to get him to make the first move. I'll beware, promise. Selina growled. All right, little one. But if you get hurt because of that machine, it will feel very sorry for itself, very soon. Estelle smiled. They could communicate with emotions too, and Selina was... a bit mad. Yes, Selina she said,and recieved a mental picture of the cyclopes' back spot, uncovered by thick armor from Selina. 'That must be it' she said to herself, smiling dangerously. Now only if she could get to that particular place...it would be game over, and she would be still alive.

OOC: I'll assume that by telepathy you mean empathy link.

Jon fired one last shot, that hit the fire-proof cyclops in the leg. He turned towards the fire cannon and charged. Estelle wins.

OOC: What do you mean by the last post? I don't get the meaning. And well, it's a more complicated matter than an empathy link.. but I'll leave it at that.

OOC: Your connection has to be something form either A) mythology (Greek or Roman), B) the books, or C) both. And I meant it is likely you are going to win that round in Jon's POV.

OOC: I'll understand that I haven't won yet, but seems likely to. And let's just say it's a really deep empathy link.

Estelle waited for a golden opportunity that was sure to come. She used her favorite "noise" - silence. She crept up to the Cyclopes, but unfortunately it had caught her scent. It turned around, and with a mighty bellow, picked up a huge boulder, and threw it in the direction of Estelle. Missing narrowly, it crashed with a thud. Estelle swiftly dodged another smaller one, and clutched Silverstag. Time to end this game. she thought. I agree. responded Selina. But wait. Wait for it, wait for it... NOW!! Selina actually growled urgently as the Cyclopes crouched down, its back to Estelle, to pick up more rocks. Without another "thought", Estelle sprinted up the back of the monster.

Jon watched as she ran up behind the cyclops. 'This was fun to watch' he thought to himself. The cyclops distraction ended as soon as he stepped on the fire cannon, and he turned around just as Estelle was about to stab him. He then decided to start to make it rain.

Estelle frowned at the rain, then no longer hesitated. She stabbed the Cyclopes and watched as it disintegrated into dust, rolling away.

The cyclops was beat by Estelle, and Jon was impressed. Time for something interesting... Mormo's turn. Whitney started the arena change by adding a blizzard. A cave grew around the mechanical creature while change into a perfect copy of the spirit. An elevated platform forced Estelle and all the snow into the cave. Brightly colored, slowly changing LED lights illuminated the cave, and a giant screen on the outside was erected, to allowed spectators to see what happened on the inside

Estelle groaned. Mormo.. She wished she had been a good girl and had never run from the orphanage. Then, that way she wouldn't be here...
The worse thing was that she was unsure of how to kill the darn thing. She turned her weapons back into rings and just looked thoughtful.She didn't mind snow, because that could be made into her own advantage... She stared at the whiteness piling. She had the most outrageous idea then. A snowball fight would keep the spirit a lot occupied... She grinned, but didn't know if it would really work or not.
