Off to the UK... or are we? (Estelle and Lily)

Whitney was five minutes early as usual he had talked to Chiron about the great prophecy. The possibility of it happening now was high... who knows what would happen if it did.

Two tridents and an olive from the long
One roe, one cornucopia and two dogs from the city
Shall rise too conquer the strong
And shall bathe in the glory

It sounded good, but prophecies tend not to be what is expected.

“Hi,”Lily walked into the room with Aqua unsheathed. Her puppy scampered in behind her.“The prophecy,”she breathed in. “Did you get it yet, Whitney?” she asked as she looked at the doorway. They were here early, of coirse, but no one had sown up....at least, not yet. Hopefully they would come soon...

OOC: THe prophecy was thought by Whitney, not spoken, and let's Estelle post once before everyone starts posting.

Estelle walked in, Selina at her heels. Selina growled at the puppy.I do not like the creature She told Estelle mentally. Why?Estelle asked. It's not even an enemy or something. Selina rolled her eyes.Do you need a reason for not liking something? Never mind. Estelle smiled and smoothed Selina's fur. 'Hi' she said, addressing the rest of the group.

“Hi,”Lily replied as she stared at Selina. Scorn was in her eys as she glared at her swwet little puppy. Honey, just ignore her. Common hostilities. She instructed her pup.It was a little surprising to her really; such a refined....pet growling at something a quarter of her size. What was the matter? It was just a pup. “So um, about the prophecy Whitney....”Lily trailed off as she patted Honey, giving him confidence and comfort.

Selina sniffed. In one swift motion, she leaped in front of Estelle and knelt by her side. She stroked Estelle's leg and turned around, completely ignoring the puppy. Why aren't there any jaguars here? it asked Estelle. Knowing that it was a rhetorical question, she just acknowledged it with a shrug. The pup whimpered- it was the first time it saw Selina, probably. People and animals usually got that... impression when she and Estelle was around. Estelle didn't blame them. Jaguars can be more than a little bit intimidating.

OOC:Please try not to control other's pets.
Lily heard Honey growl and she thought, Honey, quiet. Luckily it followed her. Jaguars......they thought they had all the power. As far as Lily knew, even a bullet or two could kil them. When she had lost herslef in thoughts. She woke and saw Honey growling fiercely at the Jaguar. Obviously he didn't approve of Silena.

Estelle directed her thoughts to Selina. We do not need enemies already, Selina. Try to get along with the dog, won't you? Selina rolled her eyes and replied Oh, fine. As you wish.
Estelle watched as Selina walked up to the puppy and purred gently, then licked it with her tongue. As gentle as a jaguar, accostumed to fighting, can be. It was a sign of friendship. Estelle smiled, and said, 'That wasn't too hard, was it, Selina?' The jaguar sighed. It was. You do not know how I had to put my pride down in order to make peace with a minuscule animal that wouldn't have even been a mouthful for me. Estelle stared at the jaguar. Are you serious? The jaguar purred faintly, and even then Estelle didn't know if she was kidding or not. Hard to tell with carnivores.

"Okay, awkward pets moment..." Whitney said with a laugh. He had yet to learn that he was not funny what-so-ever. "Anyway, um, yes I did get the prophecy. That's actually why we may not be going to the UK first. We need to talk to the praetors of New Rome. It appears that we need four of their campers for the quest. So, we will be heading to a boat, and we will be going through a river down in Panama, which is underground, so me and Lily will be holding an air bubble around the ship, except for the bottom, so we can, you know, float. Then we will be heading to the Bay Area, or more specifically, New Rome. Any questions?" He looked around.

“It‘s their firsttime. What do you expect.”lily said with a laugh. “but four campers?Who should be the fourth?”

Estelle smiled. ' I believe it would be someone as they seem fit.' she said. 'Anyway, we're going to New Rome. I've always longed to go there... Cool.' She grinned. 'Although the circumstances aren't.'She looked around at the others. 'Although I'd like to have a perfect plan laid out, I believe that every second is to be needed, not wasted. We should start as quickly as possible.' Selina growled assent. 'And Selina's gonna go, too.' Estelle added. There was no need of you to say that. I was gonna go anyway said Selina. Estelle replied, Still. To make sure there are no objections.It might cause division during the quest, which is the last thing we need. Selina growled again. You are becoming worthy of Athena, child. Then she glared at the others, daring them to protest about her going with Estelle.

"Good. We could probably scare the giants into co-operating" Whitney laughed. Then he frowned when he noticed no one else was laughing. "Okay, I'm officially the world's worst comedian."

Estelle shrugged. 'Big deal. It doesn't help you stay alive' she replied with a grin. 'Not the most useful thing when you're a demigod.'

"Fair point," he responded, "Now can we go, or should we wait a couple years?" he motioned toward the truck that Argus was sitting in, waiting to drive them the airport.

'Let's go. The longer we wait, the more trouble mom's in.' Estelle's face hardened. 'Come on.' Selena rose, and began to walk out. Estelle began to follow her. 'I'd really like a good plan now..' Estelle muttered to Selena. Selena replied: No time. It is as you just said. She flicked her tail once and started to walk again.

OOC: Guys, seriously, let's get more active..

OOC: Sorry, I was otherwise occupied with Back to School stuff... anyway we should probably continue this in the Quest thread.
